Hanoi (VNA) –
The National Assembly (NA) held the third workingday, the second phase, in Hanoi on November 4 with Chairwoman Nguyen Thi KimNgan on the chair.

Deputies continued discussing the socio-economic and state budget situation.The majority of them agreed with many contents of the Government’s report, andmulled over solutions for the sustainable economic development.

Discussing the medium-term public investment plan for the 2016-2020 period,they asked the Government to make more detailed report on the allocation of theinvestment. Besides, they also requested the Government to review proposals bythe State Audit and elaborate on the responsibility of individuals and officesfor failing to seriously realising the provisions of the law on publicinvestment and the NA’s Resolution 84.

During the discussions, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Minister ofIndustry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, and Minister - head of the Ethnic AffairsCommittee Do Van Chien addressed ideas raised by NA deputies.

On November 5, the legislature will discuss the socio-economic and statebudget situation./.
