The UK has sent military personnel to Thailand to take part in a joint exercise codenamed "Panther Gold 2017" in Kanchanaburi province.

Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The UK has sent military personnel to Thailandto take part in a joint exercise codenamed "Panther Gold 2017" inKanchanaburi province.

The UK envoy arrived in Bangkok toparticipate in the exercise, which will take place from November 1-24.

The Panther Gold exercise aims todevelop the military capabilities of the two armies through the exchange offield expertise, while strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries’armed forces.-VNA
