Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Thailand and the United Kingdom have discussed furthercooperation in trade and investment, as well as an English language trainingprogramme for Thai teachers.
Spokesperson for the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs BusadeeSantipitak said the strategic meeting between Thailand and the UK discussedcooperation in trade, investment, education, defence, technology, and civilaffairs.
Thailand placed an emphasis on cooperation in pursuit of the administration'sThailand 4.0 agenda and the Eastern Economic Corridor initiative.
It also discussed meeting the 200,000-tonne export quota forchicken, food product certifications for Thai businesses investing in the UK,and a programme to train 13,500 Thai teachers on teaching English.
Other topics discussed include cooperation on financialtechnology, industrial technology, and the civil aviation industry.-VNA
