Thailand Post President AnusraChittmittrapap, also chairperson of the organising committee of theexhibition, stated that Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn hasgraciously accepted the exhibition under royal patronage, and has givenher personal collection to be put on display as well.

TheThailand 2013 World Stamp Exhibition will be held under the theme of"Art and Happiness", showcasing art works-related stamp collections fromall over the world.-VNA

Indonesia begins major oil, gas exploration in Sulawesi

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina, along with foreign partners Sinopec from China and Kuwait’s Kufpec, has signed a contract to explore the Melati oil and gas block, located off the coast of Sulawesi. The block is estimated to contain trillions of cubic feet of gas reserves.
