Commerce Minister General Chatchai Sarikalya stated thatthe decision came after a recent talk with his Pakistani counterpartabout the Agreement.
According to him, the FTA discussion,scheduled for September, will focus on trades and investments, sayingthat the two nations are aiming at achieving 2.08 billion USD in tradevalue by 2018.
Thailand will join the 3rd Joint TradeCommittee (JTC) Meeting held in Pakistan’s Islamabad in July, and willlater host the first round of FTA meeting in September.-VNA
