Thailand launched its first international water park, the Cartoon Network Amazone, in Chonburi province since the beginning of October 2014, aiming to attract tourists to Thailand, especially Pattaya.
Thailand launched its first international water park, the CartoonNetwork Amazone, in Chonburi province since the beginning of October2014, aiming to attract tourists to Thailand, especially Pattaya.

Cartoon Network Amazone boasts 30 water rides and slides, live CartoonNetwork entertainment shows, mascot meet and greet, thrillingattractions and interactive water play fun.

The water park hasbeen designed to be a day action destination – an attraction like noother in Thailand, a place where music and live entertainment withCartoon Network characters would equally be as important as the waterattractions.

Cartoon Network Amazone water park features 10themed entertainment zones and also boasts captivating live andmultimedia entertainment that incorporates the latest in interactivesmart-screen technology.

The Omniverse Zone boasts some of thefastest water roller-coasters in the world, including a splash landingfrom a massive 23.4-metre high tower while the Adventure Zone is filledwith spins, twists, tunnels and turns.

The Cartoonival Zone hasmore than 150 water features to discover and is where fans can hang outwith Ben 10, Chowder, the Powerpuff Girls and all other favouriteCartoon Network friends.-VNA

Indonesia begins major oil, gas exploration in Sulawesi

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina, along with foreign partners Sinopec from China and Kuwait’s Kufpec, has signed a contract to explore the Melati oil and gas block, located off the coast of Sulawesi. The block is estimated to contain trillions of cubic feet of gas reserves.
