Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - Money Expo 2018 is scheduled to take place at Thailand's Impact, Muang Thong Thani, from May 10 - 13, featuring financial products from over 260 exhibitors.

Money Expo's President Santi Viriyarungsarit said this year's event aims to meet the needs of an increasingly tech-driven financial market.

The expo is divided into nine product zones, consisting of money markets, capital markets, fintech and startups, real estate, motor vehicles, SMEs and lifestyle, food, insurance and a zone for the elderly. The elderly zone includes financial services, healthcare and innovations in home living and appliances.

The expo also features special financial products, such as secondary mortgage programs at discounts up to 50 percent by the Government Housing Bank, and demand deposit accounts with interest rates of up to 9 percent by the Government Savings Bank.

In addition, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives will be showcasing a model of its future branches and giving out free 100 Baht prize bonds to senior citizens opening new accounts with an initial deposit of over 5,000 baht.-VNA
