Specifically,the Election Commission called for the poll return in Bangkok’s Bang Kapidistrict, Phetchabun province’s Khao Kho district, Phitsanulok province’s PhromPhiram district, Yasothon province’s Maha Chana Chai district, and Lampangprovince’s Ko Kha district.
The same day,Lertwiroj Kowattana from the Election Commission (EC) of Thailand said the ECreceived more than 300 complaints of suspected fraud in the general electionbut most of them did not warrant new voting.
According toobservers, the result of the voting will not considerably change the outcomes ofthe general election which will be announced on May 9.
SecretaryGeneral of the Pheu Thai Party Phumtham Wechayachai affirmed on April 21 that theparty should have the first right to form a new government as it won the most numberof seats at the House of Representatives.
