Attorney General Attapol Yaisawang on October 10 said the decision wasmade at the proposal of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).
The former PM was suspected of colluding with 23 key leaders of theDemocracy against Dictatorship (UDD) or “red-shirts” to provoke riotsduring PM Abhisit Vejjajiva’s rule.
It was also claimed that he used video conferencing and social networks to incite riots in the country.
However, the case was dropped by Thai prosecutors due to weak evidence, said Attapol.-VNA
