TheThai Prime Minister, who head the National Council for Peace and Order(NCPO), said that the coup one year ago was made to deal with thepolitical crisis.

According to the PM, his government is puttingefforts into solving political and economic problems while moving thecountry forward under a reform road map laid out by the junta after thecoup.

The army toppled former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatraand seized power during a coup on May 22, 2014, following months ofantigovernment rallies that often included fatal violence.-VNA

Indonesia begins major oil, gas exploration in Sulawesi

Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina, along with foreign partners Sinopec from China and Kuwait’s Kufpec, has signed a contract to explore the Melati oil and gas block, located off the coast of Sulawesi. The block is estimated to contain trillions of cubic feet of gas reserves.
