On February 3-4, a delegation from the Government Committee for EthnicMinority Affairs led by Deputy Minister-Vice Chairman Phan Van Hungvisited and offered over 120 gifts to ethnic minority households andpolicy beneficiaries in the Na Hang and Son Duong districts of northernmountainous Tuyen Quang province.
At workingsessions with the districts’ leaders, Hung requested they focus onethnic policies and make significant efforts to boost socio-economicdevelopment and ensure political security.
ThePeople’s Committee of the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong hasallocated 29 billion VND (1.36 million USD) from the local budget topurchase 59,656 Tet gifts for the poor, elderly and families of warveterans, volunteers, and martyrs.
