Technical assistance project for programme 135

The Ethnic Minority Policy Department under the Committee for Ethnic Affairs has launched a project to provide technical assistance for management of Programme 135, second phase, in the central city of Hue.
The Ethnic Minority Policy Departmentunder the Committee for Ethnic Affairs has launched aproject to provide technical assistance for management of Programme135, second phase, in the central city of Hue.

Witha total investment of around 2.2 million USD, the Finland-fundedproject will be carried out in eight pilot provinces of Yen Bai, GiaLai, Kon Tum, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Cao Bang, Quang Nam and Lao Cai.

The project, which is set to last until December 2010, is aimed atstrengthening management and supervision capacity as well asinformation management and experience exchange of Programme 135-IIproject’s officials and relevant agencies at both central andprovincial levels./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
