TC Motor's car sales increase by 117 percent in October

TC Motor, a joint venture between Vietnam’s Thanh Cong Group and the Republic of Korea’s Hyundai Motor announced on November 11 that 8,855 Hyundai vehicles were sold in October, an increase of 117 percent compared to the previous month.

Hanoi (VNA) – TC Motor, a joint venture between Vietnam’s Thanh Cong Group andthe Republic of Korea’s Hyundai Motor announced on November 11 that 8,855 Hyundai vehicles were sold in October, an increase of 117 percent compared to the previousmonth.

Thetotal accumulate sales in the first ten months of this year were 53,182 vehicles.

Hyundai Accent continued to be the bestselling model in Vietnam with 3,346 units sold in October. It was followed byHyundai Tucson with 1,420 units; HyundaiSanta Fe, 1,278; and Grand i10, 1,108.

The respective sales of the four models in the 10-month period were 16,382; 6,165; 8,675 and 9,309.

TC Motor attributed the impressivesale growth in October to the Government’s effective measures onCOVID-19 prevention and control and that many provinces and cities have adoptedsolutions to promote the economy.

People’s demand for vehicles forsafe travelling during the pandemic was also a factor that pushed up carsales./
