Sympathies to Indonesia on heavy losses in earthquake

Hanoi (VNA) – President Tran Dai Quang and PrimeMinister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered sympathies on December 8 to IndonesianPresident Joko Widodo on heavy human and property losses caused by anearthquake in Aceh province.

The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister PhamBinh Minh also extended sympathies to Indonesian Foreign Minister RetnoMarsudi.

The 6.5-magnitude earthquake struck Aceh province onDecember 7 morning, killing at more than 100 people and injuring hundreds ofothers.-VNA
