Leading Swedish companies including Ericsson, ABB, and EP joined a press conference in Hanoi on December 8 to introduce their strengths, aiming to seek cooperation with Vietnamese partners.

Hanoi (VNA) – Leading Swedish companiesincluding Ericsson, ABB, and EP joined a press conference in Hanoi on December8 to introduce their strengths, aiming to seek cooperation with Vietnamesepartners. 

At the event, Swedish Ambassador to VietnamPereric Hogberg stated he will attempt to boost cooperation between the twonations, especially in economy and trade.

Representatives from Ericsson, ABB, and EPintroduced participants to their projects in Vietnam and other countries. 

Ericsson - a global leader in ICT solutions,mentioned consumer trends in 2017, stressing that artificial intelligence,virtual reality technology, and products based on the platform of the twotechnologies will be popular. 

New technologies and products will help narrowthe distance between producers and consumers, and create new business models. 

ABB – a technology firm specialising in energy,focused on renewable energy and smart grids, and the use of these in Vietnam. 

The firm also pointed out challenges facingVietnam in developing the electricity industry, and gave recommendations onsmart grid models and energy saving. 

Meanwhile, EP shared its experience in educationand training, especially in foreign language training.-VNA
