Hanoi (VNA) – Total state budget revenue was estimated at nearly 246.5trillion VND (10.6 billion USD) in the first two months of 2019, up 18.2percent year-on-year and equivalent to 17.5 percent of the target for the wholeyear.
According to the Ministry of Finance, domestic revenue was estimated at 204.8trillion VND (8.8 billion USD), growing 19 percent from the same period last year.The figure was equal to 17.4 percent of the estimate.
Earnings from crude oil fell 1.7 percent to approximately 8.7 trillion VND (374million USD), accounting for 19.5 percent of the estimate.
Inthe period, state budget spending was at 195.4 trillion VND (8.4 billion USD),or 12 percent of the estimate and up 9.6 percent year-on-year.
The ministry said that it will work to ensure sufficient capital for the implementationof socio-economic targets.
Ithas also asked the General Department of Taxation and the General Department ofVietnam Customs to carry out efficient state budget collection measures, stepup inspections on tax collection and post custom clearance, as well as enhance themanagement of tax debts.–VNA
