Binh is on a working visit toSouth Africa from December 18-21.
In talks with Treasurer Generalof the ruling African National Congress (ANC) Zweli Mkhize, Binh expressed hisimpression of achievements that South Africa has scored under the ANCleadership, adding that he is delighted with the development of ties betweenthe two Parties and nations over the past years.
The two sides discussed measuresto further tighten bilateral Party and State ties along with partnership acrossthe fields of economy, trade, investment, including in agriculture andeducation-training.
Meeting Deputy General Secretaryof the South African Communist Party (SACP) Solly Mapaila, Binh sharedVietnam’s experience in poverty reduction – an issue of concern to the SACP.
On the occasion, he also conveyedan invitation from Vietnamese Party and State leaders to ANC and SACP leadersto visit Vietnam in the near future.
Mapaila, for his part, said thereare new prospects for the ties between the two Parties in the current era,adding that the SACP will soon send high-ranking officials to Vietnam to learnfrom its experience.
During his stay, Binh also metVietnamese nationals living in the country, and held a working session with ParamountGroup./.
