Hanoi (VNA) – Legislators will begin discussionson socio-economic issues on October 26, the fifth working day of the 14th National Assembly’s sixth session.

The debates will continue on October 27 and 29, and bebroadcast live by the Vietnam Television, Radio the Voice of Vietnam and theNA’s TV channel.

Before the discussions, the deputies will hear reports onthe realisation of the legislature’s resolution on the socio-economicdevelopment plan in 2018, the three-year implementation of the 2016-2020 plan,and the socio-economic development plan in 2019.

They will also assess the three-year implementation of theplan on economic restructuring for the 2016-2020 period and policies in supportof socio-economic development in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainousareas.

The Resolution No. 100/2015/QH13 on investment in nationaltarget programmes for 2016-2020 will also be tabled.

During the process of discussion, Government members willgive explanations on issues of question if requested. -VNA
