HCMCity​ (VNA) - IFProfs Vietnam, a professional social network forFrench-language teachers and professionals, has been launched by the French consulatein HCM City and the French Institute in Vietnam.

Itbrings together French language educators from all over the world and sharesteaching materials and methodology resources to improve professional practices.

IFProfs,developed by the French Institute in Paris, has 4,500 members in 29 countries,including 186 in Vietnam.

InVietnam, French is taught from primary to tertiary levels.

Around100 French-language teachers from secondary schools and universities in HCMCity and Can Tho City attended a meeting hosted by the French consulate​last week to honour their contributions to teaching the language./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
