Thesigning ceremony was witnessed by Singaporean Prime Minister Lee HsienLoong and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who is making hisfirst official visit to Singapore from July 28 to 29.
One ofthe documents is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on electronicgovernment cooperation which will facilitate the sharing of experiencesand knowledge on developing an e-government.
The others arean MoU on youth and sports cooperation and a strategic cooperationagreement, which aims to enhance economic affilliation the nations’small- and medium-sized enterprises.
Singapore is currently the fourth biggest trade partner of Indonesia.
Since 2011, Singapore has been among the top five investors in Indonesia with 5.8 billion USD of investment in 2014.
The country has also been one of Indonesia’s key tourist markets.-VNA
