Shinhan Bank CEO awarded friendship medal

The medal was given in recognition of hiscontribution to promoting friendly and cooperative relations between thepeople of Vietnam and RoK, especially in education and charity.

At the award ceremony, Suh expressed his pleasure at receiving thehonour, and said he will do his best to enhance the bank’s socialresponsibility in Vietnam.

It would be a bridge to boost the economic and friendly relationship between two countries.

Shinhan Bank, present in Vietnam since 1993, holds many annualhumanitarian activities for orphans and elderly people. It also fundsthe building of new classrooms and provides new teaching equipment andscholarships.-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
