The seminar is expected to open up moreexport opportunities for participating businesses and promote Vietnam’s brands.
Deputy head of the Vietnam Trade PromotionAgency Do Kim Lang said that the two countries’ Governments have paid muchattention to tightening their partnership.
The RoK is currently Vietnam’s largestinvestor and second largest trade partner, while Vietnam is the RoK’s thirdbiggest trade partner, following the US and China.
At the seminar, participants analysedopportunities and challenges facing Vietnamese products in the RoK, anddiscussed issues related to intellectual property and brand registration in thecountry.
According to Le An Hai, Deputy Head of theAsian-Pacific Market Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnameseenterprises are supplied with sufficient information about the country’s preferentialpolicies and mechanisms so as to expand exports to the Asian-Pacific region andthe RoK.-VNA
