Secutech Vietnam 2014 opens in Ho Chi Minh City

The seventh edition of Secutech Vietnam, International Security and Fire & Safety Exhibition & Conference is being held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 20-24.
The seventh edition of Secutech Vietnam, International Security andFire & Safety Exhibition & Conference is being held in Ho ChiMinh City from August 20-24.

Secutech Vietnam2014 has provided an integral platform to both domestic and overseassuppliers of safety as well as security products and solutions.

More than 100 overseas suppliers from 10 countries and territories have been taking part in the event.

On display are advanced equipment and new applications in the fields of surveillance, access control and fire and safety.

The fair is co-organised by the Vietnam Trade Fair Company (Vietfair) and the Messe Frankfurt Era Business Media Group.

According to organizers, the three-day event has offered distributorsas well as direct-buying system integrators the opportunity to sourcesome of the latest advancements from domestic and global brands.

Several workshops will be held within the event’s framework, focusingon topics, namely the Global Digital Surveillance Forum (DGSF Vietnam),safety solutions in banking system and fire & safety in industrialzones.-VNA

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

Bac Lieu, Korean locality sign labour cooperation agreement

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
