Second Vietnam motor show to be held in Hanoi

A wide range of motorcycle models provided by the world’s leading producers will be on display at an area of 10,000 square metres during the Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2017 (VMCS 2017) scheduled for May 4-7 in Hanoi.

Hanoi (VNA) – A wide range of motorcycle models provided by the world’sleading producers will be on display at an area of 10,000 square metres duringthe Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2017 (VMCS 2017) scheduled for May 4-7 in Hanoi.

The show, the second of its kind, is held by the Vietnam Association ofMotorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM), carrying the message “Free Your Wheels”.

It will gather famous brand names from official suppliers including Honda, Piaggio,Yamaha, SYM and Suzuki as well as some imported complete built units such asBenelli, Ducati, Kawasaki, Peugeot and Harley Davidson.

In addition, tens of brands in support industry, spare parts and other fieldslike finance, insurance and banking will also be present at the event.

According to VAMM Chairman Yano Takeshi, the show aims to create a prestigiousand professional playground for manufacturers to popularise their products.

He said that it is billed as a bridge to nudge high-end motorcycles with moderntechnology closer to Vietnamese consumers, contributing to branching out thelocal motorcycle industry.

The event is expected to welcome 150,000 visitors to experience free trialdrive and join in vibrant interactive activities.

Last year’s show displayed over 100 motorcycle models, luring 140,000people.-VNA
