The 28th Southeast Asian Games 2015 in Singapore came to an end with a spectacular and glittering closing ceremony at the Singapore National Stadium on June 16 night.
The 28th Southeast Asian Games 2015 in Singapore came to an end with aspectacular and glittering closing ceremony at the Singapore NationalStadium on June 16 night.

All athletes from 11countries walked into the stadium all together, indicating the unity andfriendship after 11 days of fierce competition.

The spectacular art performance included three parts: the birth, the origin and the unity.

The highlight of the closing ceremony is the story of Singaporehistory which was told by a series of lively scene framed within giantstamps.

The 28th Southeast Asian Games 2015 inSingapore has 402 events from 36 sports and is considered as the mostsuccessful and memorable in the history of the Games.

The host country has used technology to good effect, placing athletesand the sports at the centre of attention while still making itenjoyable to the spectators.

Technology alsoallowed sports followers to watch sports competitions of the SEA Gameslive on Youtube and make comments while watching.

The interesting point of the games this that it has 11 participantcountries, lasts 11 days and the gap between each of the four topcountries is 11 gold medals.

Thailand topped themedal tally with 95 gold medals, 83 silvers and 69 bronzes. Singaporecame in second place with 84 gold medals, 73 silvers and 102 bronzes.Vietnam were third with 73 gold medals, 53 silvers and 60 bronzes.-VNA

Indonesia begins major oil, gas exploration in Sulawesi
