Hanoi (VNA) - Low-cost carrier of the Republicof Korea (RoK) Jin Air Co. said it will resume flights on five internationalroutes next month to cater to incoming passengers and meet cargo-carryingdemand.
Jin Air plans to restart flight services on routes from Incheon toBangkok (Thailand), Taipei (China), Narita and Osaka (Japan) and Vietnam from June1, to bring overseas Koreans, those studying abroad and businessmen to thecountry, the company said in a statement.
The company said it will operate one to two flights a week to thefive cities from June to also meet cargo-carrying orders, it said.
Jin Air has suspended all of its international flights sinceApril, as countries strengthened entry restrictions on incoming passengers tostem the spread of the new coronavirus. But seven domestic routes have been inservice despite the virus outbreak.
Apartfrom Jin Air, other budget carriers of the RoK have also planned to resumeinternational flights. Jeju Air said it will reopen flights to Manila in thePhilippines in June, while Air Busan and Air Seoul will restore international routesin July./.
