RoK tourism, culture office opens in Hanoi

The Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO) opened a tourism and cultural office in Hanoi on April 1.
The Korean Tourism Organisation (KTO) opened a tourism and cultural office in Hanoi on April 1.

Under the management of the Republic of Korea (RoK) embassy, theoffice is expected to popularise tourism products of the RoK and boostexchanges between the two peoples and with neighbouring countries’peoples.

Statistics showed that last year, over90,200 Vietnamese tourists visited the RoK and 520,000 RoK visitorsarrived in Vietnam.

At the event, the KTO alsoorganised an exhibition to advertise tourism products to Vietnamesebusinesses and people as well as promoting major events related to RoK’stourism./.

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
