RoK agribusinesses join K-Food fair in Hanoi

Some 20 agribusinesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK) will introduce traditional Korean foods at the 2015 K-Food fair to be held in Hanoi from September 11-13, said the RoK’s Embassy on September 1.

The fair is organised by the RoK Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korean Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT).

Kim Dong Kwan, head of the aT branch in Hanoi, said this year’s K-Food fair will be held with the slogan “Beyond K-Food, on your table” to promote various Korean foods including instant products, tea and drinks, confectionery and fresh farm foods to local consumers.

Two major events will take place during the three-day event. The B2B programme will be hosted at the JW Marriot Hotel Hanoi on September 11, bringing together 20 exporters and more than 80 food importers and businesses, including those from Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore.

The B2C food festival will introduce a wide range of Korean food products at the Keangnam Landmark tower on September 12 and 13.-VNA
