Rice supplied to poor students in Quang Binh

The central province of Quang Binh will provide about 312 tonnes of rice aid for 5,211 local students in 48 schools in six poor districts.
The central province of Quang Binh will provide about 312 tonnes of riceaid for 5,211 local students in 48 schools in six poor districts.

Accordingly, each student will receive 15 kilogrammes of rice each month over a period of four months.

The provincial People’s Committee has asked the Department ofEducation and Training in collaboration with the local districts’ PeopleCommittees to distribute the rice to eligible beneficiaries beforeApril 10.

The rice aid for poor student is part of more than1,200 tonnes of rice granted by the Government to the province to helppoor people overcome the current between-crop food shortage.-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
