The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,470 VND/USD on the morning of November 8, up by 4 VND from the day ago.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnamset its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,470 VND/USD on the morning of November8, up by 4 VND from the day ago.

With thecurrent /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 23,136VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,798 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their rates quite stable.

Vietcombank raised its both rates by 5 VND from theprevious day to 22, 680 VND (buying) and 22,750 VND (selling), per USD.

Meanwhile Vietinbank and BIDV set 22,680 VND (buying) and 22,750 VND (selling),per USD, unchanged from November 7.-VNA
