Reference exchange rate up 13 VND on September 24

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,150 VND per USD on September 24, up 13 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) set the dailyreference exchange rate at 23,150 VND per USD on September 24, up 13 VND fromthe previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied tocommercial banks during the day is 23,844 VND per USD and the floor rate at22,455 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:15am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,115 VND/USD and the sellingrate at 23,265 VND/USD, both down 5 VND from the same time on September 23.

BIDV added 5 VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at 23,145 VND/USD andthe selling rate at 23,265 VND/USD.

Techcombank posted the buying rate at 23,132 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,272 VND/USD, both down 3 VND from the same time on the previous day./.
