Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,193 VND per USD onSeptember 17, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,889VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,497 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at most of commercialbanks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD, bothunchanged from the previous day.

Meanwhile, BIDV added 5 VND to bothrates, listed the buying rate at 23,090 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270VND/USD.

Techcombank also increased both ratesby 2 VND, listed the buying rate at 23,069 VND/USD and selling rate at 23,269VND/USD./.
