The State Bank of Vietnam kept its reference VND/USD exchange rate unchanged from August 17 at 22,450 VND/USD on August 18.

Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam kept its reference VND/USD exchange rate unchangedfrom August 17 at 22,450 VND/USD on August 18.

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,123 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,777 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their rates quite stable.

Vietcombank listed 22,690 VND (buying) and 22,760 VND (selling), per USD, unchangedfrom the day ago.

Techcombank maintained its buying rate at 22,670 VND and its selling rate at 22,770VND, per USD.

BIDV offered 22,695 VND (buying) and 22,765 VND (selling), per USD, alsounchanged from the day ago. - VNA
