Hanoi (VNA) – The dailyreference exchange rate was set at 22,426 VND/USD on December 28, up 7 VND fromthe previous day.

With the current trading band of+/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,089 VND and the floor rate 21,753 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at majorcommercial banks stayed stable.

Both Vietcombank and Vietinbanklisted the buying rate at 22,675 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,745VND/USD, unchanged from December 27.

BIDV also maintained the samerates as on December 27, at 22,680 VND/USD (buying) and 22,750 VND/USD(selling).-VNA
