Reference exchange rate goes up 5 VND

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,438VND/USD on the morning of December 1, up by 5 VND from the day ago.
 
With the current  +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,104 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,767 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their changes stable.

Vietcombank offered 22,685 VND (buying) and 22,755 VND (selling), per USD, upby 5 VND from the day earlier.

BIDV and Vietinbank retainedits buying rate at 22,680 VND and its selling rate at 22,750 VND, per USD,unchanged from the morning of the day ago.-VNA
