Reference exchange rate goes down by 4 VND

Hanoi(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,468VND/USD on the morning of November 1, down by 4 VND from October 31.
 
With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,134 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,796 VND per USD.

Slight fluctuations were seen in major commercial banks’ rates.

Vietcombank set 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling), per USD, down by 10VND from the day ago.

Vietinbank alsooffered the same rates as Vietcombank, with 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND(selling), per USD, down by 5 VND from October 31.

At BIDV, the buying rate was 22,680 VND and the selling rate was 22,750 VND,per USD, down by 5 VND from the day earlier.-VNA
