Reference exchange rate down by at 4 VND at week’s beginning

The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,428 VND/USD on September 11, down by 4 VND from the end of last week.

Hanoi,(VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,428VND/USD on September 11, down by 4 VND from the end of last week.
 
With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 23,100 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,756 VND per USD.

Major commercial banks kept their rates stable.

Vietcombank offered 22,690 VND (buying) and 22,760 VND (selling), per USD, unchangedfrom the end of last week.

BIDV maintained its rates at 22,690 VND (buying) and 22,760 VND (selling), perUSD.

Techcombank set its buying rate at 22,680 VND and its selling rate at 22,770VND, per USD, unchanged from the end of last week.-VNA
