Reference exchange rate down 8 VND on November 4

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,190 VND per USD on November 4, down 8 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,190 VND per USD onNovember 4, down 8 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,885VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,495 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at mostcommercial banks stayed stable.

At 8:25 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD, bothunchanged from November 3.

BIDV also kept both rates unchanged,listing them at 23,090 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling).

Similarly, Techcombank also maintainedthe rates, listing at 23,069 VND/USD (buying) and 23,269 VND/USD (selling)./.
