Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set thedaily reference exchange rate at 23,183 VND/USD, down 7 VND from the previousday.

With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable tocommercial banks during the day is 23,878 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,487 VND/USD.

The opening-hour rates at commercial banks were down compared tothe same hour on December 20.

At 8:20am, BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,760 VND/USD and the selling rateat 23,040 VND/USD, both down 30 VND from December 21.

Vietcombank also reduced both rates by 30 VND, listing thebuying rate at 22,730 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,040 VND/USD./.
