Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,208 VND per USD onAugust 27, down 5 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,904VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,512 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed stable.

At 8:20 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD, bothunchanged from August 26.

BIDV added 5 VND to both rates, listingthe buying rate at 23,090 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD

Meanwhile, Techcombank cut both ratesby 3 VND, listing at 23,065 VND/USD (buying) and 23,265 VND/USD (selling)./.
