Reference exchange rate down 2 VND on March 20

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on March 20 at 22,958 VND per USD, down 2 VND from the previous day (March 19).

Hanoi (VNA) - TheState Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on March 20 at22,958 VND per USD, down 2 VND from the previous day (March 19).

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,646 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,270 VND/USD.

Meanwhile, the opening hourrates at commercial banks saw no change from March 19.

Both Vietcombank and BIDV kepttheir rates unchanged from March 19, listing the buying rate at 23,160 VND/USDand the selling rate at 23,260 VND/USD.

Techcombank adjusted the buyingrate down by 10 VND to 23,130 VND/USD and maintained the selling rate at thesame level as on March 19 at 23,260 VND/USD.-VNA
