Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,406 VND/USD onJanuary 25, down 10 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,075 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,739 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at majorcommercial banks saw only slight changes compared to the rates on January 24.

Only Vietinbank cut both ratesby 1 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,674 VND/USD and the selling rate 22,744VND/USD.

Vietcombank and BIDV kept theirrates unchanged, at 22,675 VND/USD (buying) and 22,745 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
