The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,203 VND per USD on July 15, down 1 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 23,203 VND per USD on July 15, down 1 VND from the previousday.

With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied tocommercial bank during the day is 23,899 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,506VND/USD.

The rates listed at commercial banks saw slight fluctuations.

At 8:20 am, the rates at Vietcombank were listed at 22,880 VND/USD (buying) and23,110 VND/USD (selling), unchanged from July 14.

BIDV cut both rates by 15 VND, listing the buying rate at 22,910 VND/USD andthe selling rate at 23,110 VND/USD.

Vietinbank kept both rates unchanged from the previous day, listing the buyingrate at 22,890 VND and the selling rate at 23,110 VND/USD./.
