Reference exchange rate continues going up

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference VND/USD exchangerate at 22,297 VND/USD on April 5, up 9 VND from the day ago.

Withthe current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is22,966 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,630 VND per USD.

Therates listed at commercial banks saw fluctuation in the opening hours.

Vietcombankraised its buying and selling rates by 25 VND to 22,685 VND and 22,775 VND, perUSD.

Meanwhile, Techcombank set adjusted down its buying and selling rates at 22,650VND and 22,750 VND, per USD, down 10 VND from the day ago.

Vietinbanklisted the buying rate at 22,660 VND/USD and the selling rate at 22,740VND/USD, both down 10 VND.– VNA
