Quang Ninh prioritises advertising air routes to Van Don airport

Chairman of the People’s Committee of the northern province of Quang Ninh Nguyen Duc Long has ordered local media agencies to prioritise popularizing the opening of air routes to Van Don International Airport which is expected to become operational in late December.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – Chairman of the People’s Committee of thenorthern province of Quang Ninh Nguyen Duc Long has ordered local mediaagencies to prioritise popularizing the opening of air routes to Van DonInternational Airport which is expected to become operational in late December.

The local Department of Information and Communicationswas asked to coordinate with communications units which have cooperative programmeswith the province to step up disseminations, and support airlines in installingbillboards.

The Ha Long Sun Ltd., Co was requested to helpairlines enjoy free advertisements on a LED display system installed at the HaLong Park, while airlines were urged to actively provide advertisementinformation for the province’s units.

Long asked the Transport Department to choose acompetent supplier of buses, and the Tourism Department to coordinate with themanagement boards of Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu Relic Site to control the number offree tickets to the two tourist attractions for passengers going through VanDon International Airport.

Free tickets will be provided for passengers within 30days since they go through the airport. This policy will be applied fromJanuary 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.

Following a resolution of the provincial People’sCouncil, airlines which are granted with business and transport licenses at theairport will receive incentives related to communications, advertisement,public transportation, and working offices.-VNA
