At the event (Source: VNA) In her opening speech, NAChairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said as of June 12, legislators sent 98questions to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, government members, Chief Judgeof the Supreme People’s Court and Chief Justice of the Supreme People’sProcuracy. According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, thelegislature has received 3,288 proposals and feedback from people nationwide.
Cuban politburo member andPresident of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba Esteban LazoHernandez attended the event.
Later, member of the NAStanding Committee and head of its Mass Mobilisation Commission Nguyen ThanhHai presented a report on dealing with constituents’ recommendations sent tothe 14th NA’s second session.
The report said all 3,320 queriesfrom constituents nationwide have been answered on the NA’s portal.
Meanwhile, all 3,119queries to the government receieved respondes and 94 legal documents wereissued.
In April, the governmentlaunched a feedback reception and response system on its website.
The NA Standing Committeeasked the PM, ministers and heads of sectors to respond to 59 delayed queries beforethe NA’s fifth session in May 2018, which touch upon the management andexploitation of mineral resources, farm produce trademark and agriculturalinvestment attraction, strengthened inspection of loss-making projects ofpublic concern, improvement of the quality of citizens’ reception and housingconstruction in flood-prone areas in the Mekong Delta.
