Project on road camera installation approved

The Prime Minister on February 3 signed Decision No.165/QD-TTg approving a project on investing in road camera installation to serve security and order and handle administrative violations.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister on February 3signed Decision No.165/QD-TTg approving a project on investing in road camerainstallation to serve security and order and handle administrative violations. 

The project aims to upgrade the information command centreof the Traffic Police Department and ensure the connectivity of cameras in andoutside the public security sector.

It also looks to build a model of information command centrefor local public security forces nationwide, offer training on the use ofmodern technology in fighting crimes and dealing with violations, and issue anational standard on installing supervision system.

By 2030, standards and services for smart urban areas areexpected to be completed.

The Transport Ministry was asked to add the monitoringcamera system into the list of compulsory items in designing and building expresswaysand national roads in accordance with national standards./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
