Accordingly, the programme will be implemented in the first semester of the 2023 - 2024 academic year, providing 405,492 boxes of Fami Calcium soy milk worth 1.85 billion VND (nearly 75,300 USD) at no cost to more than 33,000 students at 63 secondary schools in the Ke Sach, My Tu, My Xuyen, Thanh Tri and Tran De districts.
At the event, Doctor Dao Thi Yen Thuy from Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City updated in-depth knowledge and offered useful advice on appropriate nutrition for students at the age between 12-14.
Along with the free milk distribution programme, Vietnam Soya Products Company (Vinasoy) will cooperate with schools in organising activities to provide knowledge related to balanced nutrition for students in an intuitive way at several schools, toward helping them initially build good habits in study and life.
On the occasion, Vinasoy presented 10 study promotion scholarships to local poor students with excellent academic achievements./.
