Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated that the Government highly values talents and offers them all possible support to contribute to national development while meeting President of the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Nguyen Duc Khuong in Hanoi on August 19.

The PM hailed his guest for gathering a contingent of Vietnamese intellectuals in France to launch a network providing mutual support and contributing to the homeland in diverse areas.

He wished that the association would build on its past achievements to further expand its network and enhance the Vietnamese nationals’ role in the host country.

The Government leader said the Government and he appreciated opinions and feedback from intellectuals and experts to their management amid the current economic restructuring and extensive global integration.

Professor Nguyen Duc Khuong, who is a lecturer at the Paris Institute for Administration and Business Management Training, briefed the host of the association’s activities, especially cooperation projects with ministries and agencies at home.

According to him, the association is not only a research and training establishment but also a bridge between businesses, universities, ministries and agencies.

Established in 2011, the association has partnered with several ministries and agencies in human resources training, and worked with Ho Chi Minh City to devise a scheme on the city’s development through an open database eco-system, economic and financial development policy, as well as tertiary education.-VNA
