Hanoi (VNA) – The 12th Party Central Committee (PCC)’s sixth plenary meeting entered its fifth workingday in Hanoi on October 9.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired themorning session during which participants scruitinised a project on reformingmanagement and financial mechanisms and reconstructing public administrativeunits.

The meeting continued in the afternoon underthe chair of Politburo member Tran Quoc Vuong, PCC Secretary, head of the committee’sInspection Commission and standing member of the PCC Secretariat.

Politburo member and head of the PCC’sOrganisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh read a Politburo report on a project onre-arranging the political system toward a lean and effective apparatus.

The report was then discussed by the PCC ingroups.-VNA
